Insight needed for FP Red
^ I would like to add to this. I think 600hp is max on the stock block as long as you keep the tq below 400. I plan to have my Red at 550hp next week and 425tq. I still think this is pretty safe. Torque is what breaks the OEM rods, not hp or psi. The stock motors are great and if taken care of will last a long time. They tend to blow once the tq gets over 450+. Food for thought.
The best turbo for the stock block is the Red. Hands down. It will create great hp and keep your tq low enough that it won't break **** and you still get full boost at 3700-3800 plus everyone likes to make 500hp. If you want a bit more power you can get the Black. One of my good friends has 520/417 with the Black however spool is 200+rpms slower than the Red. I may upgrade to the Black but for now the Red is awesome
