Yeah i figured, haha!

Yeap, they're good peeps!

Well if i were you, just go E-85 and you'll be at 465-480 no problem. Do couple more bolt ons and you'll get well over 500! You already have the injectors, fuel pump, and assuming you have the 3 port, so you're good on the E-85 part.

I'm not certain what you mean by 3 port. But I'm waiting to get my cob access port so I can have an E85 tune and a 93 tune. but anything 450whp+ sounds good to me!

Please put head studs in your car before I tune it. If the head gasket goes because of that its going to cost you a lot more than its worth. Also, I will be using ecuflash to tune the car. No need for anything accessport and we will certainly not be using a 3 port EBC. We ONLY use manual boost controllers.

As for numbers, The sky is the limit really and depends on how far you want to push it. I would suggest sticking around the 370 mark but we will know more once its on the dyno.

Thanks

Hey guys, I have a fairly modified 9 that Ive been trying to get a reasonable grasp on its potential.

Skunk2 intake manifold ported anda full blown 70mm tb
S2 cams
FP 71hta (51lb/min compressor stock turbine) with the 84mm cover and intake tube
3" downpipe - back kitten killer
Megan o2 housing
JMFab 3.8" garret core intercooler with STM UICP and unknown lower

Im running 93 oct fuel, and I have virtual dyno'd between 425-440 pretty consistently in Dynojet mode (1.09 CF I believe). A secondary goal will be able to go very low 11's @ 300-500 ft raw elevation.

I really want to be around 400 on STM's mustang and I feel like Im probably 350-380 there. Whats your guys best guess? 22-24 is about all I can muster for boost up top and I don't like boost spikes that spike torque so im not willing to go much higher. Stock bottom end and a 3port is what Ive been tuning with. I think to reach my goal I need less turbine back pressure as its probably getting pretty high up top. Ive been contemplating having FP clip my 71 when it gets rebuilt.

I have a 9 mr that i'm about to put some fresh parts on and get tuned if there is something i might be lacking in that isn't a budget killer let me know what i might could add.

Stock turbo
Stock intercooler
ETS short route intercooler piping
Stock block and internals ( that i know of)
3" exhaust down and back
Megan Racing Test pipe
Megan Racing Exhaust manifold
Walbro 255
Unknown clutch but i'm quite sure it's aftermarket because it chatters like a btich if i'm trying to go under 2k rpms
3" JM fab intake pipe with 5"dia x 6.5" length k&n intake filter
Hallman mbc
93 octane
24 lbs boost

Finding anything comparable to the same info on my build has been challenging to find results, so I thought I'd share and see some thoughts.

'04 WW RS
self built 2.4LR
Manley turbo tuff series billet 100mm crank
Manley turbo tuff series I beams, HD pin, ARP625 bolts, 156mm length
Manley forged pistons, ceramic coated, 9:1 87mm bore (calculated static compression of 9.23:1 with head cc, hg, and decking calc'd in)
ACL race series bearings
Girdle doweled and ARP studs
Cosworth 1.3mm MLS headgasket
ARP L19's
GSC R2 cams (274 prof, 12mm lift)
AEM adj. cam gears
GSC 5041 high rev beehive springs and retainers
MAP nitrided SS oem sized valves
Curt brown ported IM-powder coated, thermal spacer
Curt brown ported EM-ceramic coated
Curt brown ported, ceramic coated EVO 9 turbo
True 3" exit recirc o2 housing (custom)
True 3" flanged DP (custom)
Kiggly HLA
65mm Ported polished TB
Buschur DP
ID1300cc injectors
E85
Grimspeed 3-port + Grimspeed MBC (hybrid boost)
VRSF IC
ETS stock route piping
3" SD intake

Looking for as much power I can get, as soon as i can get it, with a BROAD powerband. Mainly autocross/RR street car, with occasional drag stip. Like to run MAXEffort class at buschur shootout this year. More then likely go to a fp HTA BB green/red in the future.

damn! almost the same build as mine except i have a bigger turbo and smaller injector lol. i guess 400-450 whp and torque. but that tq is gonna come in very very early, and loose breath after 6k rpms.
