At this point Buschur or AMS f1 should be the only choices to consider seeing how they are the latest models... I'm sure they took into consideration upon making all the previous manifolds out and how to improve on them.

All because they arent current models doesnt mean they r best??

AWd rs ran 8sec pass on a stock ported intake manifold lol

Driven Innovations and MAgnus have been proven to make as much power as other companies..

Like many have said in this thread, the idea on whose intake manifold will make more power is just soo over played. If AWD can run a 8 on a stock mani then y even buy a aftermarket?

In the end they all will gain power and perform great

Then why cant you decide... if they ran 8 on a ported stock one then use a stock one... I dont think your looking to run an 8 so why upgrade to a big let alone looking to get a great deal... Most of them are pretty close in price besides the DI which is the most expensive... You also said you are only looking to make 700ish and any of those will put you in the 700 hp range easily even a stock ported one which would actually be the cheapest of them all.

Then buy a buschur or DI one and call it a day... both already been proven to go very bottom 9's. Haven't seen the f1 or Magnus do that yet to my knowledge

How do these manifolds rate compaired to ported stockers ?

Also, to get the most out of them, is it better to run a ported stock throttle or a larger unit ?

Depends on what power your looking for and your turbo setup. If you want all top end usually its better to run the larger unit

What about for a circuit car. Throttle response and midrange are what's needed the most.

I'm running a 2.3l and a trust t67 at the moment. Car also has a fully built head and map rev 3 intake + mil spec Throttle. Thinking about changing the manifold + turbo at th moment. Need more midrange and throttle response..

I would have to say the stock ported would be fine but then again I don't circuit race so...

What power are you putting down right now Tonba?? Your throttle response is gonna fall off a little down low, but if you keep the RPM's up, then what you make up on the mid-high will be totally worth it.. I track as well, and my car is being built now.. running the new BB 5857 with fully built 2.0L, hopig for around 550/550 whp/tqe.. It has been recommended to me by a reputable shop on here that anything over 550 seems to react the best with a fab intake.. anything less, just port the stocker..

At the moment I'm making around 410hp @ 4,050rpm. (98 Ron fuel).

I'm thinking of changing the turbo and intake out for the following;
-FP HTA82 Black
-Shearer Exhaust Manifold
-Shearer o2 housing
-AMS F1 Intake
-70mm Thottle

I need a bigger powerband.. Like 3500 - 7000rpm rather then the 4000 - 7000 I have now..

Tonba- sounds like a good build.. but I would suggest that you possibly look at a slightly different turbo option for power down in the 3500 range. There are some BW T3 s3XX series turbos, that may have what you need.. And it you are deadset on that turbo, make sure to get the .63 hotside. Need it for spool. Good luck.
