LOL, Im not sure stopping production would be the cause and affect from the test. I mean how much of a difference can an intake make in total power at this level? A lot of engineering and testing went into these IM's, so whoever comes out on top will most likely be by a small margin. I will be looking for an IM that offers the best constant airflow, regardless if WOT at 7K+ RPM or spirited driving at the lower RPM's. The top HP rating for half a second wouldn't do it for me. So, I hope this test actually comes to fruitian and we can see all the results and make an honest assessment for ourselves.

Shark's car is one of the most known out there!

I guess the IMs that we need are:
- AMS F1
- Buschur Racing
- Magnus V5
- Wilson
- DI

The result would make one the king and the rest probably to stop production, unless they are pretty close so then people would go with their personnal preference and loyalty...
This would be very true! Straight up same boost level's none of that BS

P.S. I would love to try out that dual rail Magnus you have there

Lets get the ball rolling on this

I have a 6765 shop car built head/block that will be running next weekend. It is our tuners car and would be the perfect setup for these manifolds to test on

Shark is right... We already have the benchmark...

I would definitely chip in for such test...

Lets say 20 guys from 100 dollars thats 2000 dollars for dyno time, gas and the mechanic...

Do you think you could max out the dual rail setup I have.

Thats 3400 cc of gas. 1550 Primaries and 1850 secondaries.

Think you can handle it?

I was being serious when I said his car would be perfect.

but im sure people wouldn't want to see testing on this car because he has more of a race car setup than what others drive.

meaning a race head / race gas / 950R turbo kit

To COLT:

the AMS F1 is nothing but an improvement on the VSR, it makes power throughout the RPM vs. the VSR which made a TON up top.

I VOTE SHARKBITE TEST CAR

I ALSO VOTE SHARKBITE COMES TO CHICAGO AND GIVES A LOCAL FAN A RIDE :-)
The F1i is a totally different design from the VSR....

The reason i want to see the F1i AND the VSR so badly is that i have some mixed results from personally testing both of these intakes... I was monitoring INJ Duty and A/F and using JOT VDR software for back to back comparisons to see the curve. "yes i realize this isnt a Dyno Jet lol" BUT since there is no AWD Dyno Jet locally here monitoring the A/F and INJ Duty along with using VDR was the best i had to work with....

I would be willing to donate some $ to the fund for the testing if this is really going down so that i can see this on a REAL dyno and put this to rest.

not to disrespect anyone but yes sean would be a great person to do the test BUT he is very geared toward AMS products.

imo you need someone who could care less who's makes more then another.

Ivey is a state away and I have no problem sending him my Bushur IM...after talking to him of course. Force fed performance might be better if people have a "problem" with Ivey doing the test.

Dan thanks! But let results speak for themselves!

DI is ready to send an 8-injector manifold to anyone performing the test!
