I think the AWD thread pretty much lays the FP black vs. HTA35r debate to rest.

this is the dumbest thread I've ever seen. How did this thread change from being about which turbo has more potential, to which turbo is more reliable? WTF is reliable at 35psi+

Not to mention that anti-lag and 2stepping will kill any turbo pretty damn fast. That is very hard on it and if a track ***** is doing it constantly they will have issues. Also a turbo is sorta like a miners canary, if you are having oiling issues it will go first since it is most sensitive to aeration in the oil at these high boost pressures. FP turbos are awesome and the bearing design is much better than the stock bearings for the application. Anyone claiming otherwise is a fool.

using 1 freak car as a comparison is the really absurd thing to do.

Ok you guys, this is quickly going nowhere.

It becomes clearer every day that the FP Black has bridged quite a lot of ground between stock framed turbos and larger T3/T4 turbos. The power curves show what's possible. As always, what an individual gets out of it depends upon a host of variables (some unseen) that we cannot control. However, that does not change what's already been demonstrated.

I'm not sure what else can be said about it. As the dyno graphs pop up, they tell the story, one by one.

Yea the black is amazing but there is much more power potential in a 35r varient. Will most Evo drivers ever need 700 plus hell no but. I for one went T3 and would never go back. I hate the power drop on top of stock frames. I had a 20g set up for quite a while spool and midrange were good but that power falling of I can't deal with. My 61mm spools pleanty fast and couldn't be happier with my purchase and having the ability to upgrade anytime

I agree I really don't see what all the fuss is about. It's relatively new turbo to the market and don't we want to see product improvement and advancement, don't we want to have more options. Isn't that what fp is doing? I like it when I see people coming up with new creative and innovative ideas right here in good ole USA. I applaud them for their efforts and say keep up the good work.

Man you know what i have never talked to you directly but your on both sides of the fence and its like when you talk others listen. Way to many people are hating on the fp black for no reason it will not get you this power it cant get 650 etc. Everyday this turbo is shutting people up and folks are getting angry they actually paid 4k-5k for a turbo system Technology improves im actually happy its shining the more options we all have the better. Its only going to improve with the fp blue comes out im sure it will put the black to same lol
