Hmm...Not sure if I tried V5 or not, but I did have V7 on it. It's been a while since I've driven it; I guess i'll see when I put it back together.

 

For anyone interested or currently researching the stalling issue, I just wanted to add another note regarding the damage this can potentially cause if not dealt with as soon as possible.

I was finally able to bring mine crankshaft to the machine shop thinking all I would have to do is get it repolished and balanced, but it turned out the crank was bent. (Que lastima) Also, the connecting rod bearings and main bearings were damaged because of how far gone the thrust bearings were. In total (not including labor because I'm doing the work myself) the repair cost me $1200. Fairly ironic since the thrust bearings are only $25.
