sounds like typical clutch chatter. When you upgrade clutches like this, alot of cars will have clutch chatter. Some do it, some dont. Can you make a video so we can hear it. Maybe we can help you better if we listen to it.

I just installed my quartermaster. This is my first twin disk and I understand some noise is normal and all by my engine/ trans shakes in 1st gear in low RPMs. Is that normal also? I haven't taking the car out for a drive and just tested it out on the jack stands so now load on the wheels. It also makes a clunking type noise. Any info would be great.

qm is a race clutch. Just like a tilton unsprung hubs equals nasty engagement. Unsprung equals worse dd and harder on drive train but capable of holding more horse. Sprung like an exedy twin which i have and need a rebuild its not noisey except now its breaking so it makes some noise when i dont have the clutch pressed in. But the dd on a exedy twin is great to me even in chicago 90 traffic sometimes haha
