Running Tial BOV with stock MAF
Running Tial BOV with stock MAF
So I wanna start modding the engine. I was thinking of getting an IC piping with a Tial BOV flange, but people keep telling me that if I run a Tial I gotta get rid of the stock MAF cuz the car will run rich. Any input?
ive ran a Tial on stock maf for along time and never had a problem....
depending on who tunes your car you will be fine... no issues here..

When I had my RX7 it used a AFM (Air Flow Meter) to meter air and consisted of a a flapper door that would meter the air. I have a TurboXS RFL and I vented it to atmosphere and never had an issue with it. Also on my turbo 240sx I never had issues either but both cars were tuned so that may make the difference.

the BOV has nothing to do with how much boost you run, but more to do with what vacuum your engine holds... i was on a stock IX turbo, ~25 psi, boltons, and TiAL BOV. No issues.
