Thumbs down Check Engine Light

Okay i've been getting a check engine light. Came on about 2 weeks ago. Showed a vacuum leak. It's the vacuum hose that came with my perrin intake. It's not tight on my car, I had to zip tie it. It seemed to be working but then it came on again yesterday. Not sure how anyone else fixed this problem with the vacuum hose that was given with the perrin kit. Just seems too big for what I have to fit in on.

Ah you need to find out what the CEL is first it might not be as simple as a vacum leak . It could be anything. Most of the time something minor

I had it looked at yesterday. It was a vacuum pressure leak.

Find the leak and fix it????? kinda vauge need a little more info. dtc?

I did fix it, with 3 zip ties.

dtc=diagnostic trouble code, standard stuff for OBD2 systems. If the hose is that oversized maybe you should get a smaller id hose?
