Is that the clutch you are going with? I will be installing one early next week, since mine is gone, completely. Thats why I have been searching for the best clutch to buy for our E7's. Nobody here in the US makes one for the E7, since its not out yet. But I have a funny feeling that there will be a great demand for one if they dont last any longer than 2-5k miles. I am calling some manufactor's here to see if any of them want to make a clutch kit for the E7 for the US. There is not a lot of use of the twin plate clutch designs here in the US, most everyone uses the single plate designs. Can you get good prices on twin plates clutches where your at?

Thanks, VIctor
Hi Victor,
I'm pretty sure this is the clutch I'll get. I have 15,000km on the car and I can really feel the slipping. I don't launch the car at all, I don't race it, just some "regular" city driving

My tuner told me that the worked on several E7s and that in most cases the clutch dies after about 10,000km.

There is a good selection of twin plate clutches here (Ralliart, Giken, HKS, etc...). I like HKS stuff, it's just a matter of preference I guess. The HKS clutch claim to support 700hp and about the same amount of lb/ft of torque.

Unfortunately, twin plates are really expensive, nothing you can do about it. around US$1500 for one here

Good luck finding a good clutch, the stock one really sucks

OK,
Here's an update on the HKS clutch. Got it installed last week and got to drive it today (I was out of town for a week).

Also got a Apexi Power FC engine management, exhaust and larger anti-roll bars.

First impressions on the clutch:
Engagement is much more direct and brutal, stalled it a couple off times the first time I drove it.
The pedal is a little heavier, but not that much. It just feels more solid.
From a stop I have to give it a few more revs or the car will bog.
Definately no more slippage, and the power is back with a vengence.

Overall, this clutch is much more solid and precise. It feels great

I haven't tried any launches yet, we'll see how it works...
