there are 4 wires, 1 blue, 1 white, 2 blacks, do not get the 2 black wires mixed up. Cut one at a time and solder in a the provided extensions, remember too long is much better than too short. I picked up a butane powered soldering iron from Radio Shack to make the job easier, I suggest using heat shrink to ensure that the connections are protected from the elements.

Hey 93Civic--

Do you already have a downpipe and catback or are you adding this to the stock configurations. If you are adding to the stock configurations, might I recommend going with the 2.5" instead of the 3"? It will actually cause you to lose some HP or give you very minimal gains if the exhaust is going from restricted to open to restricted again.

Just a tip--take it for what it is worth.

Anyone know if you can remove the o2 sensor part out of the car? It would be much easier to do the soldering with it on a table than crawling under the car to do it.

I have used UR 2.5 and 3.0 test pipe I never solder any wires.
All you have to do is pull out that Donut on the O2 sensor and you will have more than enough to hook it up to the test pipe.

After u pull out the wire make sure you tape up the o2 sesnsor
connector with eletrical tape so this way water wont get in.
And then go to any autoparts store and buy your self another rubber donut to fit on the bottom of the car.

man its not much work you just have to wire the extra length to fool the sensor.in and out in less than 30 min. get it its the best around.good quality and no CEL for sure.

If the O2 sensor is moved to the test pipe to somehow stop a CEL light, what happens to the O2 bung in the cat-back? is there a plug for it or something?

no cel,and if you have access to any equiptment to check what o2
sensor is reading, you will see that the sensor stays around .75volts,as to trick the computer that the cat is indeed working and quite efficently at that, but does infact change voltage readings, just slightly, but enough to see that the o2 sensor is indeed working.test pipe works as described,no cel. also,if you remove pass side seat and lift carpeting, you can either unplug o2 sensor to solder on bench in front of you,or you can remove body plug about 8" in front of one that the o2 sensor goes through presently and drop through that one, with no need to cut wires at all, just up to you.remember, you will loose a few psi of boost when removing the cat!!!!!!!!

yes, but when you remove the cat, wont you be making the same amount of power but with less boost?? also for those who have installed.....if you take the rubber housing off the underside of the car that the o2 sensor wire run through, can you not pull it out far enough to reach the test pipe then??? Also, can some people post pics up of their UR pipes installed I would like to see all this after finish.
