Quick clutch question

So I got my new act clutch and installed it, but I forgot to clean the new flywheel and pressure plate before installing it. The new clutch and flywheel came with some anti corrosion oil on it. My question is should I take out the clutch again and clean it or will the grease eventually burn off?

I'd imagine it will chatter like hell...if a couple fingerprints can cause hotspots then thw whole thing being coated can't be good...

The noise I could live with but the performance of the clutch is what I'm more worried about.

I deff think the life of the clutch could be shortened not running clean. I've never put one in that I didn't clean up first so I can't say for sure...I know I would have trouble sleeping knowing it could ruin a new investment though.

Who agrees with using brake cleaner to clean off the oil on the flywheel and pressure plate?

Thanks for your input sir, I really appreciate it. Do you think it's safe to say I can spray it on while the clutch is still bolted up? I'm probably going to slide the tranny out a little and clean it that way. Don't want to go through the hassle of bringing it up again. Good idea?

I would deff pull it back apart sorry...thats the only way you are going to get all the oil off of the contact points.

Take it apart completely and clean it. The grease will eventually cause the flywheel to have hot sports where the grease burns into it, thus causing chatter later.
