I just got mine a week or so ago, I installed it just like the stock DV and it seems to be working right around the same as the stock DV. I have only the B-port connected and the A-Port capped off. The sound is slightly different, but overall im happy with it!

Is the older (larger) design not available anymore? Sounds like it worked better..

So in a recap.
I'm currently running an MR valve, stock 7 turbo at 26psi, get decent bucking from the stock valve at higher rpm transition between boost/vac.
Plus suspect it leaks a little at that boost.
Should I buy this valve and trust that it'll hold a stock frame turbo no larger than a Green at 30psi with good drivability?

its either this valve or based on cbrd's experience, the cobb xle bpv. the synapse definitely bucks less than stock and holds boost.

I tried the larger unit for ~1 week before i swapped it out.
what gets me, is how sensitive these valves are & everyone finds differrent set-ups for their driving style.

I'm still rocking the old, large unit with zero flutter/surge. I may try the new design just for the hell of it, but ya Aby, seems like everyones config is extremely different.

Guys, please do not cap any ports, that acts like a pneumatic brake. Any unused port should always be VTA, no need to filter either.

Lastly guys, don't share the vac/boost control line to the BOV/DV with any type of control valve. This includes MBCs and BCSs.
Your standard OEM DV/BOV, or aftermarket unit such as Tial, Turbosmart, Forge, etc. have such slow response times and are so heavily sprung that they typically are not affected by this. In fact, we've had one of the local genuises here in San Diego telling their customers that the Synchronic units don't work and that they open up under boost and flutter under boost. When in fact, he was plumbing BCS solenoids and MBCs to vacuum and sharing the same line with the Syn BOV/DV control line. You can imagine what would happen once the control valve would start to PWM or vent pressure from the line.

did the hose that came with your kits fit the factory boost vacuum source that was attack to the stock dv via a rubber hose? I just installed mine today and im running b only.
