Got some more time tonight to test out the remainder of the setting possible. I skipped A port only entirely only because from what I have read, it is the worst setting. I may switch to it at some point to, "nail the lid on the coffin" so to speak of it's validity of use.

Push Mode - B: Felt almost the same as A+B but I got a strange buck in second gear when going WOT into boost and then slowly letting off the throttle (checking if I could find flutter).

Pull Mode - A+B: Coming from the B only port to this felt very different. Didn't get any surge or flutter issues at all. Very drivable and well mannered.

Pull Mode - B: By far the best feeling of the 4 I tested. Everything felt a little more responsive then the other settings. Heal-toe downshifting had a little more pep in it then usual and I had to adjust how hard I tap the throttle. No surge or flutter no matter where I was lifting of how I was lifting off. No problems at low RPM WOT to gradual lifting. I will be doing more testing on this setup as it feels the best for how I drive.

As a note, all of this testing was done with the Boost Connect fittings for ease of change. I will try doing a standard Vac line once I finalize initial testing to see if anything changes.

Proof that the synapse dv works! I gained 16whp by just adding the synapse dv which replaced my stock bpv. The synapse is set to pull mode.

I believe it's B only, but I'll double check.

T into the vacuum line going from the FPR to the intake manifold...

I'm still uncertain as to which version Synapse I want. On a previous car, I used the DV set up and I loved it. Since then the BOV was released. My car is set up for autox/road racing and I don't feel the Tial QR is responsive enough between shifts. I can definitely tell it is holding me back, even compared to the stock DV.

Anyone here try both?

I also tossed a message to Synapse directly.

Thanks for the reply, have you try the same setting with the spring came with the dv?

Btw, I see you drive evo ix but in your mod lists you have hks 274/278 cams isn't the 274 cam made for evo with non mivec engine?

These are the new HKS MIVEC cams that were released at the same time as the 7460R turbo.

but according to hks website, for the mivec engine only 272 intake is avail, 274 intake cam is only for evo8. I have the 274/278 for evo 8.

Is there any advantage or running the DV on the intake as opposed to the UICP? Mine is installed on the UICP.
