My understanding is that gasket is for the older 4g63 from the DSM crowd, similar to C4233 and C4234 variations?

I will agree... the head gasket selection for a 4g64 MIVEC engine is quite bleak.

I'd really like to use the OEM one modified for the 86.5mm/87mm bore like AMS uses, but they won't sell me just the headgasket. Seems odd to me.

You may be correct. I'm not a 100% on that. Aaron would be the best person to ask.

Thank you John ! I'm also excite which COmetic headgasket is that !

What is the camshaft suggestion for 4g64 mivec engine with ported head +1mm valves 9.5-10 :1 compression ratio and with an FpBlack or similiar Turbo ?
I wrote an email for English Racing, I heard that they have special GSC cams for 2.4 engine. Also I'm thinking on the stock GSC cams between the S2 or S3 or some Kelfords . I would use it with a Manley upgraded single valve spring and light weight titanium retainers.

On E85 will you go with near 10:1 compression ratio or 9.5:1 ?

If I wanted to re-use my GSC S2 cams and Full Race Pro Stock Manifold, would I be able to go with a 2.3 or 2.4 engine?

spool time

how much different would the spool time be on a 2.3 or 2.4 compared to a built 2.0 with the same setup?

great info! Has anyone ever done anything like a gsc (or other) 94mm crank in a 4g64 block and add that extra 6mm of room to the rod. Looks like they use a 156mm in the 63 block so that would give you a 162mm rod with a 94mm stroke. assume .020 over and you got a 2.285l with a 1.72 r/s.

k now i just need a few stacks to suddenly appear in my bank account.

Honestly though, is the extra rpm (money) gonna do any good for anything other than a straight line over a budget 2.4? Unless your in that little extra head room for a majority of the time, essentially on drag/highway pulls, your not utilizing the benefits of such a motor anyway. A standard 2.4 has its benefits all through the rpm range we drive the most on the street or road course after all.

Just thinking out loud a little
