New BW EFR Turbo Thread
I agree on paper the units look strong, but when has the first iteration of a new line of turbos ever been without a lot of headaches?
I remember when (by word of mouth at least) Precision and Turbonetics both had tons of failures. It will be interesting to see how well the launch of this new series goes for BW.

That's a single scroll turbo capable of 725whp on a DJ... making 400lb ft @ 4500 about. Seems to spool as fast as a HTA35R, but make the power of the HTA3586.
Imagine... Twin scroll 8374 on a 2.2L
I'm starting to think the 7670 may be a better fit for me given that the 8374 results thus far are about 125whp more than I really need (ahem...want) We always need MOAR.
Now I'm super stoked to see a 7670 on kill mode.

Quick side note as we have recently moved our facility and have noticed that our dyno seems to be reading a bit lower than usual (don't know why we just took it apart re-greased some parts and bolted everything back the way it came apart???)
The real test is when we get it out to the track to see what it traps
Anyway the boost hit 42psi peak and settled nicely to 38.5psi
I'll have a quick vid posted up tomorrow of it as well but it pulls smoothly and is a killer street car now.............

These turbos definitely look promising! I want to see some 93 pump gas numbers, because unfortunately my car will be running that most of the time :-/ But it will have C/Q16 for kill mode :-) It'll be a little while from now, but I plan on doing a twinscroll 8374 on a 2.2l. My goals (mustang dyno) are 500whp on 93 and 600whp+ on race gas. I hope to see more graphs soon!

I think the 8374 on a 2.2 would murder.
Its not about good or bad fit, its about spool and power goal of the consumer!

Are you saying that if the client only wants 500whp and fast spool on a 2.2 litre engine you would still recommend a TS 8374?

Lets all put massive 800hp turbo's on 2.0 litre engines running 300hp...
