Here we go again, quiet cat-back clarification needed.

Is yours anywhere near this? There must be some sort of a leak that is causing your car to be so loud. I still think you have a leak of some sort.
Post a video clip.

I have also noticed this as well. I had an srt-4 but only had the insert so i didnt notice the noise. But I noticed more engine bay noise with the blox front motor mount when I had it with the Evo. Not as crazy as you experienced, but it did transfer more sound in cabin.
Looking at center muffler picture:
There is a dark spot on the downpipe on top of the brace. Is there a crack or hole there and leaking exhaust?
Does your downpipe have a flex joint? There seems to be either a flex joint or a Vband connection on the dp around the transfer case area. Did you check for any leaks there?
Put your car on jack stands and start the car. Check under it throughout all of the exhaust tubing/system area for any types of leaks.

Something seriously is not right.
Would you be able to post a video clip?
Some questions for you:
Do you have a o2 dump or recirculating?
Have you checked all the flanges on the exhaust to make sure they are not leaking?
Did you check your downpipe, o2 housing etc.. to make sure there are no further cracks?
Which location is the loudness coming from , rear of the car, center and or front of the car?

I'm about to pull the suspension for a spring install, so it will be a little while before I get a current video up, maybe early next week. That will give me time to find my video cable.

It's aluminized exhaust pipe, 3" slash-cut and welded onto the Magnaflow. I painted it black with VHT flame-proof 2000degree spray can after the tip was welded on, but before being welded to the CBE pipe. Looks stealth as hell. Too bad it doesn't sound stealth at the moment.

Noise is the issue, including outside. I doubt the engine could vibrate the car at the low frequency I'm hearing.
How do I check? I have to be honest, I'm not crazy about laying under my car, a local guy was killed last weekend when his minivan fell on him. http://triad.news14.com/content/top_...unty/?ap=1&MP4

The engine rattles whatever is inside the dash in my car. I'm about to throw it out the window and go for Torque Solution...
Ummm, yeah. That guy had no blocks and didn't even put it on jackstands. Sad to say it but he had what was coming to him if he was risking his life like that, especially on a slight hill. I'm pretty sure you'll be safe with the car on all 4 jackstands and is level. You can then start the car safely and start checking.
Seriously it's omni directional at that frequency. Recirculating. Have not checked the rest of the exhaust.
Not even in the same universe as your vid.

Go under the car and just hover your hand around the exhaust flanges areas and any suspect areas. Have a friend lightly apply some throttle as well. Try to feel any air leaking from the exhaust areas. Most likely the leak will be at the front area, exhaust manifold area, to o2 housing area, to downpipe.
Well, start the car and listen for exhaust noise within your pipes. Stick your ear under the car and go from front to back. This is how I found out there was a hole in my flexpipe. Car was still loud from it not having a cat so I didn't hear the leak before but from your setup compared with his video, you're setup should be quiet enough to hear a leak very clearly.

You'd think that I could hear a leak very clearly, but trust me bro, it sounds like the entire length of my exhaust is making the noise like an 8 foot long subwoofer. My garage sounds like a bandpass enclosure, and it could be coming from the ceiling fan from all I can tell.

I'm with you on the mounts.
Put the car on jack stands so that it is safely held. Then start the car and go all around it listening to where there is audible exhaust/combustion sounds coming from. Also check if you see exhaust fumes escaping from places they shoulding be.

So I don't have 4 jack stands. I only have two. Since you think it is probably coming from the front, should I try to listen to it while I have the front on stands doing the front suspension?
I am going to pull the bracing off of it while returning to street suspension, and I'm also going back to OE engine mounts. I am one more aggravation away from putting a IX turbo on it, in which case you know that I'll be pulling the downpipe, etc. apart anyway.
If I may add to the quest.
In your desire for a quiet exhaust I recommend using header wrap on the down pipe and all the way back to the resonator in the mid pipe. Be sure to coat it with the silicon sealing spray. I have a COBB CB, Perrin high flow, and COBB DP. My exhaust is very, very tame. Even at cruising speed.
Next, the tip of your exhaust plays a role in the sound as well. I recommend a larger tip that tapers like the stocker. The taper releases the pressure slowly and reduces the sound a ton. By having the 3" tip...it causes it to be a little louder.
Also, the stock exhaust manifold is better as keeping the sound down vs a tubular one.
Lastly, adding the resonators and mufflers will help, but you need to find the area of the most resonance and place the resonator there. It is pointless to keep adding a bigger muffler if you are putting it in a bad spot.
Hope this helps.

Ok team,
Early this morning before getting ready for work, I went out in the garage, started the car, then held a box, followed by a rag, over the tailpipe. The car is completely silent except for quiet valvetrain/ engine noise.
To me, this says: no leak.
I'm pretty sure it is just the mufflers (hah!) at this point... agree?
I took two videos, one with my phone that I can post today:edit: posted below (not showing exhaust shut) and one with my fancy handycam that I can't find a cable for, showing the exhaust volume drop down to nothing when I cover the tailpipe.

Nevermind the sqeaky belt. It goes away once the car is warm for 5 minutes, or when I drive it every day.

Ohhh WOW! Yeah, the Nexus S does a pretty good job of capturing how loud the car is. That is much more accurate than my first video on page 3 or 4 with my old phone (Nexus One with noise cancelling mic).
So yeah. Unacceptable.

Everytime I have found a leak it has been by starting up the car and letting it idle for a few minutes and then look for any signs of condensation escaping from anywhere in the exhaust. If it is bad enough it will drip on the floor.
