cylinder 1 not getting fuel

cylinder 1 not getting fuel

hey guys so my cars is not getting fuel in cylinder number one been looking around and seen that it could be the resister pack ive dont everything this can be my last option so if anyone know if thats what it could be or have any ideas how to help or what i could do please help me out guys thank you

It could be alot of things...injector, wiring, ecu, resistor pack...what all have you checked?

The only thing I can think of is my resister pack because all my other injectors work it's just #1 that is not working so that's all I can think of

If one injector isn't working did you ever think it could be the injector? Ohm the injector and compare it to your other ones, if that checks out ok then grab a noid light and plug it in to the injector harness and make sure you are getting pulse. If you are getting pulse and the injector ohms correctly it could still be clogged. Let us know what you have tried.

Ok I've done everything I swapped injectors used injector cleaner still nothing and I also wanted to know if a dsm resister will work on an Evo 8 seen on here some where it will just wanna double ask

Yes, it will. A number of us have used the DSM injector resistor box to modify for Bosch injectors (ID1000s and 2000s need the resistor box bypassed) in order to save the Evo one to put back to stock if needed.

The Evo manual shows that each injector has a separate resistor path, so it is theoretically possible for one of the resistors to fail; however it is very rare if it happens at all. When you swapped out the injector what did you do and what happened?
