EVO 11.5 Hotside, anybody try it?
Naw, BigDaddy, that is not what you think it is. I am not at home so I can't look at the housings on my garage shelf. But, that "116" number is cast on either the 9.0, the 9.8, or else, either of the two versions of the stock Evo MHI TDO5 16G 10.5 turbine housing. When I get home I'll check that serial number and post back up for ya.At any rate, it is definitely not an 11.5.
at least that's what I was told. Next time I'm up at that shop I'll get better pics. I only had my Iphone on me at the time.
that's not a 116. That says 11.5 straight up. I know it's blurry, but that's a true MHI 11.5 hotside from a Evo VI. It's real, it does exist.

There exist the following MHI turbine housings for the Evo's 16G turbo:
10.5 single puck
10.5 dual puck
9.8
9.0
Links should be posted in the first few pages. Otherwise this is where I got mine:

Anyone swap a hotside with the rest of the turbo in the car still? I plan on swapping manifolds and hotsides but I really do not want to deal with pulling the turbo out haha. Trying to do the minimum here!
Not an area to cut corners, bend an exhaust fin and its coming out now !
Most hotsides are attached fairly snug and requires a compass of whacks with a hammer.

I have quite a few thousand miles on my housing. No problems here yet and hopefully never. You should be happy with it. I still haven't had a chance to test mine yet though.
