When I get home I'll check that serial number and post back up for ya.At any rate, it is definitely not an 11.5.
that's not a 116. That says 11.5 straight up. I know it's blurry, but that's a true MHI 11.5 hotside from a Evo VI. It's real, it does exist.

at least that's what I was told. Next time I'm up at that shop I'll get better pics. I only had my Iphone on me at the time.

Trust me. There never was a "true" MHI 11.5 turbine housing for the 16G turbo family, AFAIK.

There exist the following MHI turbine housings for the Evo's 16G turbo:

10.5 single puck
10.5 dual puck
9.8
9.0

Np! I have quite a few thousand miles on my housing. No problems here yet and hopefully never. You should be happy with it. I still haven't had a chance to test mine yet though.

Anyone swap a hotside with the rest of the turbo in the car still? I plan on swapping manifolds and hotsides but I really do not want to deal with pulling the turbo out haha. Trying to do the minimum here!

It's literally 5 more minutes once the manifold is off.

Not an area to cut corners, bend an exhaust fin and its coming out now !

Most hotsides are attached fairly snug and requires a compass of whacks with a hammer.

This is still pending...Been trying to make it happen for months now, but havent had time to fix other issues to test it. My car still runs well and havent had any issues witht the housing so far.
