and you will need a stronger actuator.
-std 0.8 bar only got 1.1 bar boost
-1.2 bar act only got me 1.4-1.5 bar of boost
-i am now going with 1.7 bar next week

HKS boost con at 100% and also try to titen the spring

good luck

siduolocin: Is your Evo fitted with an HTA Green turbo with the standard MHI 10.5 housing? If so what actuator are you using.

for whatever reason it sounds like you have a ridiculous amount of back pressure from the turbine wheel to the engine...

I could run 1.5 bar on my stock .8 bar actuator on my stock turbo.

Yeah, this seems way wrong. With the stock actuator you were only able to boost to 16 PSI(1.1 BAR)??? Something is wrong, dude!

Maybe you were only able to only able to boost to 16 PSI with zero preload, right? But, that is why the actuator is adjustable.

Even though I don't have my Evo anymore I know this hot side is still running strong on my old car. And it has an 18psi actuator on it for the above discussed

Does anyone know what these exhaust housings are made out of?

They have A3N stamped onto the side of them, but i'm assuming that because they have just copied the Mitsi exhaust housings
