I said nothing negative about the DW pump for reference.

The Modded Walbro outflows an un modded Walbro the ENTIRE curve though, that is fact as we have the flow sheets from both.

The Grainger link is NOT what you would want to use. First it is too short, second it is too thick.

Here is the tubing through Jeg's, we can also get it but I am telling you guys it's not an easy job and you probably do not need it.

Here is the bender I used:

I believe it was the top one 51912, 3/8".

That's nice to know about the modded walbro, I'm going to be running it for pump gas this winter until I get your double next spring for e85.

This link states in the description this is a BRAND NEW pump released in 2011.

Hmm....

I'm not very concerned with what FR's site says. I have the e-mails direct from the manufacturer telling me what the fuel pump is from and how long it has been running. It has been released to the AFTERMARKET this year but has been in the Viper and Vette for the last 3 years.

Haven't there been a lot of issues with the DW pumps? I swear I've seen a ton of threads about issues with them failing. Sure they flow more and better...when they flow...but there have been tons of issues with them on Evos (not sure about other cars since this is the only forum I visit).

Relatively, we've had very few problems. The pump has been doing very well. We have thousands of units in the market globally thus far and have had less than 1% come back to us for testing, and far less with actual confirmed problems. As with any product there will be a problem from time to time, that is why we offer the best warranty, 3yr no fault.

In a few applications there has been a learning curve in regards to how the product works within the confines of the car. With the Evos, many of the growing pangs have been learning about issues with the chassis itself: power supply, flow management - supply/regulation/return, and sealing. People aren't seeing FPR overrun because the pump isn't flowing enough.

When you are the first to bring a new product like this to market and it gets used in so many different applications, there will always be things to figure out from car to car...but we don’t shy away from that. We are here on EvoM and other Internet communities so you guys have easy access to us for any customer service or tech support needs. Wonder where the other aftermarket pump manufacturers are?

stainless is a bastard to bend, a cheap bender will break. im pretty sure you could rent one from home depot or something though.

I don't think the cost is an issue with anything other than the actual quality of the bender and the actual bend it makes. It is absolutely PERFECT, like a perfect mandrel bend. Tight radius too, works well.
