So hows your Kinugawa holding up as of today?
I am running the td06sl2r-20g and it's still holding up well after ~4 years. I am currently making 475WHP at 28psi on E85.

Great! .

1. How would you compare 20g with 25g on a bone stock 4g63?

2. Can you share some details about rpms when it starts to build boost and around what do you hit the full boost? How it it holding up till the redline?

Thanks!

I actually had the 25G and it was way too laggy for me. Did nearly nothing until 5500+ RPM. Now with the 20G and the 1.5bar spring, it starts boosting around 3500, reaching full boost by 4200. Boost does hold until redline and HP keeps on climbing. I'll attach my vdyno generated by tscomptuned.

This is a stock motor with 100k+ miles and low compression in 2 cylinders. The only internals are GSC S1 cams.

Bump!
25G with the TD06HR hot side, so its already bigger than the TD06SL, how would this do in terms of spool and top end? I plan on revving the motor till 8000rpm having the whole head built, but if the 20G can net me 400WHP on 93oct with good top end pull then I'll settle for the 20G instead.
Advice!!

What's your mod list? I'm on a 11 blade Tdo6sl2r with a billet extended tip 20g/antisurge housing
Looking at getting it retuned and curious on what kind of power it'll make

So hows your Kinugawa holding up as of today?
Judging by the post above, an FP HTA71 makes the same as the Kinylugawa, or whatever and is far cheaper than a Green.
a Green is good for 500+

Hi

GUYS PLS HELP ME OUT!!!!

Based on positive reviews I had bought a TDO6SL2R 25G from Kinugawa with a 5+5 blade compressor. The car is a evo 8 stock block and head. I got my car tuned with a 1000CC FIC injectors. Whatever I do I am unable to hit full boost until 5.5K RPM @26PSI(does not peak any further) the car already has a 2bar WG spring with full preload and no boost leaks.

I need your help to confirm if the 25G turbo lag is that bad and when does other members hit full boost in the RPM range with this turbo.

My ambient temperature is at ~35C
