It's Buschur or AMS. Or nothing at all. Once you have seen their drag cars...everything else is a joke. If you can make 800Hp without rebuilding every other run...game over.

I was just trying to suggest you look at the slightly bigger picture (after all, you are into metaphysics right?). That bigger picture will show that Shivs low dyno numbers make seriously fast cars. Buscher makes seriously fast cars too, but his hp numbers are way higher for similar 1/4 mile trap speeds. Calling me a moron was uncool and something you wouldn't do to my face, so please don't grandstand online. I never insulted you, did I?

Just because you have a AWD dyno does not mean you can tune worth a freak. Check this thread about tunning this guys DSM. Shiv great tuning you went from 187whp to 210 wow a whole wopping 23 whp! With a 57 trim turbo!

What a *********ing waste of bandwidth. I've read this entire thread and I'm ****ing pissed off. I could have sworn this forum was to educate and not to disrespect other individuals. I came to this site to learn about the EVO not watch people bicker over bull****. The threadjacking is ****ing idiotic. All the negative comments need to stop. You know what Gonzo, I AGREE with you. Imagine what it is like to try and clean this crap up all the time and only turn around and see another thread that is the same thing. This is the whole reason I am not touching this thread. If I kill it, there will only be another. If I warn someone they will only cry about it in Site suggestions and feedback. You can't win. It's the same people every time. This was Buschur's thread and therefore everyone who is not adding to it should have stayed out of it.

This whole problem will require some rule changes and/or stern action which I have no input to, so for now I am staying out of it.

damnit.. well all i have to say it is that ive been with al since he 1st got his flashing tool and had faith in him since the start... he has helped me work on my car since the beginning ...... to buschur ive been buying parts from him since my previous dsms and have had great accomplishments with it..... so them working together will be a GREAT thing

The mods on my evo so far?
Buschur Stage 4(except with HKS RS Intake...sorry dave i just like the way it looks in my engine bay) with 272/272 HKS Camshafts and Dynoflash... and a bit of "street tuning"(early morning highway runs ) with my safc for race gas.....
my idle is perfect and will happily give out some of my safc setting that i made and saved to keep my idle close to perfect.. well with the new BuschurFlash that wont be a problem anymore

My gawd what a rediculous waste of time this forum has become. The lack of policing of this thread by the moderators is absurd. If I was an advertiser I'd pull my ****ing ad spend from this web site in a heart beat. It is virtually impossible to glean any sort of useful tuning information unless you want to wade through pages of "dick fighting" posts.

The alternative? I guess it's going to have to be sitting on the phone to deal with vendors. You'll quickly discern the vendors who give a **** and will provide customer service by how accessible they are via telephone. I can tell you that based on my own personal experience that at least one of the vendors in this particular thread has absolutely terrible sales support via telephone and e-mail. I don't know if the reason for the poor service was the distraction of SEMA, a change of physical location or just plain so much business that they can afford to **** away customers willing to spend money with them. Certainly building a relationship with a customer is not a top priority for them. On the basis of that experience alone I made up my mind not to persue doing business with them. In my opinion, the pissing contest here only fortifies that decision and has done a great deal of harm to the integrity of both these vendors, of which I held both in high regard in the past. This has happened regardless of which vendor starting pissing first.

I'm sorry. This post has become an off topic rant, but my point, as I said, is that this site is useless for obtaining information from vendors. It should be retitled "Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here". I completely understand why users have decided to abandon this community.
