So I've been having mixed messages about my injector size. I'm running an aquamist hfs-3 meth kit with 50/50 mix, and I called a tuner and he said I have to upgrade my injectors to atleast 1000cc injectors before he will tune it. Then others say I shouldn't have to because of the meth. He also said I would make no where even close to 400 which is what I'm shooting for.

Aquamist hfs3

Your tuner is obviously an idiot if he says you will not make 400. I make 400 on stock turbo no problem. But that was on the standard Dynojet. If you are running stock injectors then you do need to upgrade them.

 

if you are going to buy injectors, i wouldnt bother with anything smaller than 1,000's anyways.

Hah, why would you go small when even the most massive injectors these days can drive and idle like stock?

What he said. Oh, and you can make 400 without meth (which is what you should do, especially if 400 is your goal).

 

I understand where your coming from but huge injectors aren't what I need for my particular setup.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from that tuner you called. 750s will be fine on pump with meth . If you look to E85 down the road though obviously you'll need bigger
