so as of rite now im curretly getting my car tuned via tscomp, and i guess ive been having problems with my boost curve, i have the aem truboost, which i really dnt like to b honest lol neways, ive messed with duty cycle and spring pressure and have got it to hold 29.5psi till about 6k then after that it falls to 23-24psi by redline? does all this sound about rite for stock 10.5 hotside?

yes at redline the stock 9 turbo will efficiently flow to only 22psi so your taper is very normal if not high compared to what ive seen and compared to mine. (on 91 octane i hit 25psi tapering to 22 and on e85 i hit 28psi tapering to 22 as well.)
tscomp is an email tuner lol so my car isnt there....im tryin to get this stupid truboost dialed in so we can get the tune done, thats y im askin if wat i stated about my boost where its at now sounds normal, im also doin the e85 first
just search https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...o-max-psi.html
theres many threads that will tell you that the efficiency range of the 8 and 9 turbo is around 22psi @redline because anything after that will make no power as it will be all hot air blowing

1) You should contact your tuner about an questions like this. They will give you the best answers as to why you are seeing that curve, etc.
2) That boost curve seems normal. With e-85 you will be able to boost pretty high, but near red line it still is going to drop off quite a bit. Hitting 29.5psi on the stock 8 turbo is really high and it will not be able to hold it that long due to its efficiency capability.
On my stock 8 turbo I spike to 27psi on 93 octane and it dropped to 23 at red line.
Let us know results when you are all done!

Yank out the tru-boost, go spend 35 bucks on a MAC 35A solenoid( you might even have already as part of the tru-boost) and let Tom do the boost through the ECU. DONE !
PS. Tom has my car running 28 PSI on a 10.5 Hotside VIII turbo through the stock IC pipes and FMIC..... On pump..no knock...
