This list is awesome man. And def do your timing belt now, its due every 60k.

As for the water pump use the gates waterpump listed here. I also have a evo 9 and used all the parts listed here.

Use rockauto.com it's super cheap I paid like under $200 for all the parts here

Anyone know if there is a significant difference between the regular gates timing belt and oem. I going to be changing my belts when I install my s2 cams and want to see if there gulag black gates timing belt is just as reliable.

My tuner said to get the OEM 9 timing belt even for the 8s. As they have Kevlar.

The idler pulley I ordered from STM. I couldn't find it on rock auto.

Otherwise this is a more complete kit than anyone one offers. It saved me alot of money over kits and over $900 from the stealership.

Looking at 450-600$ for parts. Anyone know if the 270$ price is still good?

Nice! That is what Josh at Emphasis Co here in ABQ NM said. However, he is unable to put a warrenty on Amazon parts. :-(. Should I still get the parts and just install on my own?

Long time Mitsubishi guy and I've always used Mitsubishi parts without any problems.

I'm thinking of using all gates stuff (minus tensioner) for my IX.

Now that this list has been posted for awhile, can some of you report on the long term reliability of gates timing components?

Also, is the standard gates t-belt made of Kevlar like the OEM IX belt?
