Car is and has been together for at least a few weeks. To be honest, I'm tired of working on it so it's just sitting for now. We are having a billet input shaft made for it and I'm waiting on the quote. I'm dying to drive the car, just tired of fixing it.

How about an Ikyea sequential shifter with a PPG dog box no problem with accidental down shifts then.

ROFL, ABSOLUTELY ****ING NOTHING! That's why I personally ignored it! HAHAHAHA

I had the car out again to work on a few things in the tune. It's simply bad ***, hard to believe how fast it is at 30 psi of boost. Fixed the brakes too, it takes a really aggressive and LOUD pad to hold the car on the starting line so I went back to the annoying, squeaky pads but it holds now. I'm going to run the car again before the end of the season, even if we don't get our billet input shaft.

Thats good to hear Dave. If my buddy decides to bring the car to you in October, I will drive with him just to visit you guys and see the Buschur beasts in person!

No other updates. The car is together and running and I've driven it around a bit. I'm taking it easy on it to be honest so it doesn't break again, tired of all the work involved and time spent taking it apart. We are currently having a billet input shaft built for the trans, once that is done we will install it and then go back to testing and trying to make some power and run some numbers. I think at this point it's the weakest link and it's pointless to just break it over and over again.

I will say that driving it is bad *** and the power delivery is unreal with the trans. I will not go back to a manual trans in the car, it's an impossible choice for me after driving this like it is. It turns the car into a "GTR" basically, driver error is gone. You get in, turn the car, drive away, pull to the starting line, hold the foot brake down, give it a little throttle, no two step, no rev limiter and then just punch it. You end up with 1.3 sixty foot times on slicks, no miss shifts, no power shifting no mistakes.

Sounds like a fun time. Be nice to see some quick passes with the trans.

Once its all figured out, Im buying an evo 8-9 again just to put this trans in. Currently have an evoX but i miss dragging the old 9. excited for the results.

any plans to make it a paddle shifted automatic? Audi's s8 is a ZF 8 speed auto which has an optional (sport mode) that allows you to shift the gears using the paddle shifters.
