New times with BR clutchless 4 speed
I truly can't abandon ship. I have well in access of $60,000 in this project and still don't have a working transmission in my own car. I'd sell the car before I put a 5 speed back in it and I've never owned any car as long as I have this car (10+ years now). So I am stuck with finishing it and making it work!

i am afraid though that the GTR is getting too much of your attention
Thats pretty awesome. The shaft looks like quality machining work, would it benefit from being heat/Nitriding treated ? either way hope it all works out this time around
Hats off for sticking with it. I know all to well how tough it can be with r@d. It pays a huge tole with time and money. If people ever get to buy this hopefully they will appreciate what has gone into this.
The car is running with the new trans in it and I've driven it, all seems flawless. I also have the new electric power steering in it and working perfectly.
I visited the machine shop today and am having a new part built, should be quick. It will eliminate the torque converter bolt problems the DSM's and now my EVO are plagued with, I'm surprised nobody else has done it after all these years.
Once I get that part I'll get it in the car and then the testing/driving will begin again.
