Yes. The Ef2.5 comes with the ef3 compressor and ef2 turbine. Map does not release their specs but I believe the ef2 is nothing more than the 65MM TD06 turbine wheel much like the Green, and the EF3 runs the TD06H 67MM turbine much like the Red. However with that being said it would be nice for someone to substantiate that.

Correct both are different.

The Map actuators comes with a 18 psi spring installed. It comes with a helper spring which will increase it to 23 psi.

Found some issues with flapper not sealing right, this maybe cause of poor spool. We will see very soon. Turbo should be done mid next week and back in that night. Probably some retuning as well since my car was running a bit lean at higher rpms

What was causing the flapper to not seal properly?

machining was off just a little, flapper rested on the bridge instead of sealing on the outside of the port

Cross posted from my thread... with light preload, I have achieved 25 psi by 4K RPM.

So, mean4g63, if I am reading this right, the EF2.5, is configured( at least wheelwise) roughly somewhere between the 73HTA Green, and the FP Red? This would be a neat turbo to ship over to Britain so as to have Owen Developments do a BB conversion on, huh?

Yup you got it. I know map has been considering a BB option as well in the future for their turbo's. Not sure how far they are with it at this point, but a ball bearing version would be nice to see on E85 @ 40 PSI.

I thought you were selling your 2.5? Did you decide to keep it?

For now, were too close to a local track weekend coming up in June to switch setups. Its the biggest event in MN for imports and MAP puts on the show which is badass. Might rebuild 2.0 after event better rods, pistons, etc I don't want a hole in this block
