Just an FYI we are once again offering Reds and Blacks in JB trim for those cost conscience but you must read and understand the technical articles on oiling and oil starvation due to sloshing before we'll sell you one.
As for the stock housing being $300 more it's because I have to buy a complete EVO 9 turbocharger to get it which is a $600 increase over buying the housing by itself. Then I have to take it apart and have it machined another $100 worth of labor. So we split the difference on the cost of the turbo with the public, otherwise we couldn't afford to sell the housing at all.

Would there be any benefit for us without a/c to have the downpipe come out a bit more to have less of a sharp bend? Without the a/c compressor and bracket there is more more room to make the downpipe transition up smoother. Would there be any performance difference, idk, but I am curious whether MAP or Forced Performance looked into this option when creating a downpipe for the new ss turbine?

I have an upper IC pipe where the temp sensor bung was placed directly in the outside radius of the bend just before the throttle body! Couldn't have picked a worse place for disruption/restriction of air flow!
In this case, just before the 'M' in the MAP logo would be better than it's current location.
John-
I believe Invidia offers an extension harness for the O2 sensor. That might give the slack needed to possibly move the bung further down.
