Slight gear grind. Help.

Car is an evo 9 MR with the 6 speed tranny. 30k miles.

the car runs good. Just has a couple
Bolt ons and no crazy power.

Recently I've noticed when I shift from 3rd to 4th gear while in boost and at higher rpms, there's a slight grind. The gear still goes in but there's a grinding sound.

I don't know the last time that the tranny fluid has been changed but I am planning to change that soon. do you think it's the synchro that's going out? Or maybe there's something that I have to adjust?

Thanks.

Adjust the rod on the clutch pedal, 12mm locknut has to be loosened and then you can turn the rod a little bit by hand.

try adjusting the clutch and change the fluid, when you change the fluid look for sparkles in the used fluid

There is a how-to for both the fluids and clutch adjustment! Get those done and report back with the results.
