Numbers are in, exactly 450whp and exactly 400wtq at 30psi. Stock block, head, cams. I'll get some graphs up in a little bit. This little turbo is a beast.

Here are some graphs comparing my last two tunes. The top graphs are my current tune with the FP 71HTA CHRA, FP Race Manifold, and the Cobb DV. The bottom graph is the stock turbo, stock manifold, and stock bov. Everything else is the same.
I absolutely love this turbo. For $600 bucks it can't be beat. The only issue we ran into was surging between 3000 and 4000rpm. For that reason we made boost come on slower (i'm sure my rods are happy
). I can assure you it is not laggier by any means. I might switch to a anti-surge cover eventually. The little turbo hits hard and carries boost all the way to redline. Unfortunately we had to stop at 450whp because my setup couldn't flow any more fuel. I'm addressing the issue now, trying to see if its the fuel pump or the injectors holding me back. But there's still some more left on the table
Thank you FP for making one badass turbo and selling it at a killer price.

I never had a 73hta Green Turbo. Went straight from stock to the 71hta. My stock turbo numbers were 382whp and 397wtq. The 71hta put down 450whp and 400wtq at roughly the same boost level. We kept torque basically the same due to the stock block. But a 70whp gain for $600 is amazing.

I know this is an old thread. But I wanted to ask you guys running this setup what you are using to control boost levels? I'm considering this upgrade and I'm using a hallman MBC at the moment with an upgraded WGA.
I've been tuning a member here with this turbo upgrade. It's pretty amazing for just a compressor wheel and cover upgrade.

KFC went to the strip today. Before on 93 he trapped 114mph.
Today he trapped 119 as a high and did a 11.92@118 with a 1.861 60ft as his best on E85.
Full weight SSL sunroof and leather car with spare and tools out.
Changes from above where a Wally 450 pump (to get fueling back inline) and AFPR.
Here is the log from his drag run. Sharing because I feel people don't share these types of logs enough.

His mods are currently:
2.75"dp
3"catback
$14 open airfilter
walboro fp
3port solenoid
Walboro 450
AFPR
FP 71HTA with 84mm surge port
HKS 264's

just saw your review in FP's site. Good to see an active member still replying.
