someone needs to just clone the MHI stuff.
I would think SOMEONE will step up and deliver- there's obviously a HUGE market for these still- a lot of people are happy with their setups and might simply need to replace a turbo etc.

If FP can cast their own single scroll turbine housing, someone can cast an OEM-like twin scroll housing. Just sayin'

^^+1 ATP Turbo has done it twice too so it's possible (1st casting wasn't that great though).

How long till the 3.0 is on and tuned? What are your engine specs? Stock block?
Looking forward to seeing the graph and hearing your opinion on how it drives!

Me: Are they available with an anti-surge housing?
Mike at Blouch: Turbos can be built with the 3.5inch inlet with anti surge ports.

I am not saying the new XTR's will surge (as this depends ALOT on your individual setup but I know some people ended up swapping to the FP anti-surge covers on their BBK's) https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-27-psi-4.html

Just something to consider when choosing a turbo for your specific application.

It will be awhile before I get the turbo on and tuned but mods are the following.

Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors
Walbro 255
ETS 3.5'' Intercooler
ETS UICP/LICP
ARC intake
MAP 02 Eliminator downpipe (recirculating)
3'' no name catback exhaust
Stock Head
2.0 Block being built with Manley Turbo Tuff I-Beam rods with Wiseco 1400HD pistons

I will eventually upgrade cams to GSC S2s with Kiggly beehive valve springs.

I will most definitely need an anti-surge housing for my 2.3.

Erik, you should get a 2.0XTR w/the anti-surge housing and post some results for us

I will most definitely. But this build is moving at a snail's pace. Need to get the rings WPC treated and possibly the bearings, then shortblock will go out for assembly. Then comes the head, where I will be doing a slightly non-traditional valve-job based on Aby's recommendations and possibly be making some tweaks/improvements to the windage tray once we get around to putting the oil pan on.

Well yesterday I made the purchase of the 1.0XT journal bearing. Also having MAP do the porting. Looking forward to getting it at the end of this month.
