FP Cast o2 housing

7 pounds is a lot for a car that came with aluminum fenders, hood and roof.

I'm willing to bet its lighter than, or similar to, the stock cast O2 housing. If you're worried that much about weight, maybe you should go back to the stock intercooler. The aftermarket 3.5" cores are quite a bit heavier than stock.

Plus the $460 I saved vs buying a 02 eliminator downpipe can be put towards another mod that will have greater benefit than a 7 pound weight reduction.

Did anyone measure the ID of the outlet? Is it 3 inch or can it be ported to a true 3 inch?

its a bit larger than 2.5. for reference to the pictures in this thread, the OD of the housing where it seats inside the donut is 3.0"

so i have a question regarding the new Fp ss housing. I been wanting to order the new Fp red with new ss housing. Now i currently have an AMS downpipe. What would i need to run with their new SS housing. I dont want an O2 dump since i live in cali. The less attention the better.

^^^You would need something like this. What is on your car after AMS downpipe? You might have to change some stuff up cause AMS had to go with the awesome 3 bolt design (sarcasam)
