No worries! With this many orders, I will ask for the pans to be sent in large enough boxes for return shipping. I'll get the dimensions asap.
The first batch set me back $12 x 3 = $36 plus part of the shipping charges and gas to/from the shop (40mi round trip). I think I spent about $50.
This would be $12 x 6 = $72+ and I gotta draw the line there.

I'm sure you could put an extra $20 on each pan for yourself..

We'll see. I was trying to keep the first batch reasonably priced to help those few peeps out and to see if the pans caught on. If pricing is similar, I may add a bit, but I'm okay with not having to purchase all the shipping supplies.

I would gladly pay extra for your time. I’m getting a quality, custom part for my car and more piece of mind that I’m not going to grenade my engine when I’m out enjoying it. This should be a win/win situation for the both of us, not just me.

Appreciated! I know how hard it was for me to find a solution to our oiling problems. I just want to help others. I also know we take quite the hit on custom parts. I'd like these to be the ONE really useful thing we don't pay an arm and a leg for.
A proper pan can save an engine and someone could really take advantage of that need.
If I can do so without anything out of pocket = even better. I don't need to profit from it.

I just remembered that I forgot to let you know that 2 others live near me. We can ship our 3 together in extra large box so you can reuse to aend back.

Fascinating and a little scary in the sense that I hope the person who agrees to do it is competent. I wonder what's so difficult about making these. If the guy can't find anyone on his crew that will do it, would he be willing to share his drawings and parts list?

Might be time for one of these then
https://www.zoro.com/honeywell-north...sw/i/G0799181/
Looks like my auto darkening Lincoln cartridge would drop right in there (have to measure it).

I've been thinking of getting one anyway, as sometimes I have to weld on partially painted,
coated with road grime on the backside (old frames), or zinc coated stuff. The originals were brazed, correct?

Would the guy make the pieces at least? If I could get the parts, I'd either Mig it myself, or have my buddy Tig it together.....

Do you know where the spring loaded trap doors came from?
The more I look at your original pics, the more I think I could make my own
from scratch with some minimal external dimensions.
The only part I would not want to fab is the trap doors themselves.
It also appears there was some extra baffling along the passenger side end?
