If I continue to say “Thanks” does it start to lose meaning? I hope not.
Thanks kaj for keeping us posted.

I wanted to have him build me another one to have as a back up, but I can't afford it, right now

If anyone else wants one built, I’m down for 2. I think we need a group of 7 pans to get another batch built.

Edit: Can't decide if I should or not, might miss my chance but I already have a JUN pan and only autocross lately. PM me if you absolutely need one more person for another batch. The long warm up time is rough too.

Just five.

Also, All pans, going forward, will need to be new, otherwise the fabricator will need to charge extra for hot taking/acid washing used stuff.

It's not worth the risk of using an old oil pan to build with when it's only $190 for a new pan. A blown engine or spun bearing will cost more than $190.

They are pretty easy to clean up, once the old sump is removed. Everything can be cleaned from the baffling area. It's just time consuming and an extra couple of steps. It delays the build process by a day. He says he'd probably charge enough that it's worth it to just use a new pan
Plus, if all pans are new, then there's no need to keep track of whom sent which one. New pans makes things easier all the way around.

All oil pans shipped today. Again, sorry for the delay. Tracking numbers will be posted on the Google doc as soon as I receive them. I will be emailing out some "care" instructions tomorrow LOL.
