That sounds questionable.

He said he would go through and replace the seals again. Is it possible for the machine shop to pinch a seal or anything like that when installing them causing it to not seal correctly?

I'm not looking at it, so it could be many things. Improperly installed seals, damaged valve guides, damaged valve stems, worn valve guides or stems. I don't recall if you upgrade your valve springs last time. If you didn't, you could be getting valve float, and retainer to seal contact. If you did, ensure you're using the correct retainer for your retainers. IIRC the supertech duals require the use of their seals.

When we replaced the seals, we did GSC beehives with the Ti retainers

Did you forget to check the pistons while it was apart?

It's getting worse?

Post no 24.

So yours is broken and it's got a cranking compression of 165?
The OPs isn't broken, it's the turbo and it's got a cranking compression of 120?

That makes sense.

VC is off and I just dropped it off to have a 10an welded on to my ets intake, and then have the cover tapped and drilled as well.

Inspecting the seals and everything "looks" normal to me.. Is there anything I should look for? (In reference to the valves still having oil on them)

Its hard to inspect them with the valve springs on, but you can make sure the spring is still on the seal, and look for any tears in the seal, or evidence of marring/galling on the valve stem.

Just one of those curiosity questions. I'm doing the 10an valve cover vent regardless.. but how do several 8,9 second evos (my tuner included) run stock size pcv vent lines, or just a breather filter on the vent with no crank case pressure issues?

They don't run FP bb stock frame turbos.
