You guys think I could be over-oiling my FP Red? Just running the oil feed line from the head.. I know the JB like to be fed from the oil filter housing but didn't think it mattered too much for the BB

Also - been reading up on the Kiggly HLA mod. Wondering if it would be beneficial to my setup..

Kiggly HLA does not change the oiling too the turbo. Only the lifter gallery.

Okay gotcha. Still may not be a bad mod to do while the VC is off..

It's looking like, the 10an on the VC + correct oil + FP inline filter with a .30 restrictor is going to solve my problems.

Still need to address why my valves have oil on them after the fresh seals..

What restrictor were you running previously? Just an unrestricted line from the head?

Regrettably, yes. How my installer did it and I never messed with it.

Gotcha. I'm surprised you're just now having this smoke issue (assuming it's the turbo). Even at the head, your turbo was getting about 40psi of oil pressure in the higher RPM's lol.

I mentioned further restricting the turbo a while back. I just presumed you had a FP or other .030 on it already. ALL BB turbo require less oil then a JB. Hopefully that much oil didn't damage anything or lead to excessive oil in the charge pipes to ingest.

HLA is a nice piece to have.

Did they complete the initial inspection of the turbo yet?

So, turbo is fine. It just needs a proper vent setup for the crankcase. When mine went in for a rebuild its at 48cfh of leakage, and still didn't smoke with proper crankcase venting.

I'm thinking the main issue I was having was over oiling the turbo tbh. But the vent will no longer be a problem if it ever was

He did. A couple posts ago he talked about getting the valve cover and intake back from getting modded.
