Evo 9 possible diff broken ?

Evo 9 possible diff broken ?
My car started making this noise two weeks before being broken the car would make a whining noise but not a whining noise like the transfer case makes it would make a whistling noise wot and the more throttle I give it the more it would whistle so then after a week it started making a chatting noise and when I would step on the gas it would make a noise where two metals were rubbing against each other and it was coming from my front side then I was driving the car normal took a right on a street where it had a little hill a very small one and hen KABOOM THE CAR WOULDNT MOVE AND THE WHEELS LOCKED UP ALL FOUR I BELIEVE IT WAS A LITTLE HILL SO WHEN I LET GO OF THE BRAKES AND E BRAKE THE CAR WOULDNT MOVE SO IM NOT SURE IF ITS REAR DIFF FRONT DIFF OR T CASE SOME HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED THANKS IN ADVANCE !!

Sorry to hear that. I blew a diff in 4th gear as well but not sure yet which. Both are intact on the outside, and the car moves, but clunks really bad once I complete a full rotation.

Yes I can switch through all the gears it makes the most noise on the highway when I touch the throttle a little bit there a big rattling noise coming from like under my legs from the front of the car it’s sounds like if you ever been on a city bus that noise is always there once at higher speed
