I'll settle for best guess. Lol
Why did you send it out? I thought you were going to swap out the parts yourself.

I’ll measure it for you. Took it to a local machine shop for clean up and they decked it .003”. Had them check valves and reseat and install springs and retainers. For $300 can’t beat that.

Thanks, I appreciate that. For $300, I'd have them do the work too
How much carbon buildup did you have on exhaust valves and exhaust ports?
Are your tturb, exhaust manifold, and O2 housing out? Are those those stock and ported?

There wasn’t a lot of carbon. As far as I know it is stock. It’s stock manifold with o2 dumb and evo 9 turbo.

Leave those alone then. Porting won't be worth the time (and a week of metal splinters). Lol
The O2 dump is the best quickest upgrade.

Exhaust measures 2” x 1.25”
Intake measures 2.25” x 1 5/8”

Intake is including the little spot for the jnjectors

Thanks for this measurement. Intake manifold port to head is about 56mm by 28mm, which is about 2.2" X 1.1". Scaling up a photo, your intake port excluding the injector port is 1.18". I have 2mm of metal to remove, which isn't much. This is too little to remove. I'll just smooth out the ports.

You’re welcome man. Thx for all the info. When installing the cams is it best to install them not at tdc or the dowel pin not pointing straight up?

dowel pin up is general for 4G63 engines. But it won't stay at TDC on its own. You will need someone to hold cam gears in position as you put timing belt on. I bought a cam gear holder for around $25 to avoid troubling someone to hold for me. Lol
Before you install cams, make sure your pistons are at TDC and pay attention to which cylinder the cam lobes press down on (safety check, just in case, it should be in between where no valves fully open). Cams should settle down where all valves are almost fully closed.
Set the timing belt on crank and oil sprockets with one tooth off rotated counterclockwise. Once cams are torqued to spec, position cam gears in place and slide timing belt on. Then around tensioner pulley and as belt tightens up, the crank sprocket should rotate 1 tooth clockwise to line up. Hope that makes sense. Don't forget to wait 15 minutes before pulling the tensioner pin.

install with dowels almost straight up. I didn't understand first time reading. Lol
I don't think it matters if you pay attention to cam lobes to make sure it doesn't press valves down on pistons at TDC.
