That's correct, it is my second QM clutch. First was in for around 20k miles daily driving, racing, launching at 720whp. and during disassembly I notice wear on clutch hub. The good thing is that it is not wearing input shaft splines because material on input shaft is a lot harder then on clutch hub, so replacing clutch discs every 20k miles is not bad at all. It is a trade for perfect shifts every time at any rpm I want. There is always cons and pros.

I have a few different input shafts with significant wear marks on them from the QM gear drive discs

Weird, that's never happened to me or customer's cars that I was working on. In my area QM clutch is very common almost in every evo and I have never seen input shaft damaged but always clutch hub. Hub material is pretty soft and almost every time I have seen wear on clutch itself only. Within last 10 years I had 1 damaged splines on input shaft but the guy did not know how to launch it, and it was on Exedy triple so I would say it is pretty rare, but everything possible. I am pretty happy with QM, it takes all the power, there is no other clutch on the market that can shift like a butter in any rpm's like QM. The noise is horrible and the clutch pedal is stiff tha't why I was interested to switch to ACT twin but after reading all those negative post's I will stay with QM for now.

I joined an Australian evo Facebook page. Had 1 positive review. And many said very harsh and heavy engagement. Many say buy exedy over it. Said there are better options and there’s a reason they are priced like they are. So 🤷‍♂️

I assuming they are referring to the multi plate clutches? They offer a wide range of clutches so I was just seeing if it was in reference to a particular model or all of them.

I guess time will tell with mine.

the one positive I saw someone said they were just rebranding the carbonetics as their carbon twin but I cannot confirm that. I planned to buy a clutch at some point since my cars been down like 2-3 years but seems so hard anymore. My qm made it 18k and that’s terrible and drove terrible lol. Shifted good though.
