As for the master and slave they could be wearing out if you haven't ever changed them. I am going to plan that when the time is right with mine
New OEM master and slave installed last year when the clutch was RMA'd. I keep adjusting the clutch pedal rod to fix the lockout issue but it's becoming a PITA. The locking nut doesn't loosen and stays in place after adjustment.

Current issues with V2:
Random gear lock out
fork rubbing against pressure plate

I totally wish I gave the X Clutch a shot.

For the Torque capacity I'd need, its 2 separate discs and ACT has a splined solid hub that the discs ride on which ultimately decided for me. I dont want the wear on the input shaft associated with 2 discs.

from what I see here the spung hubs both ride on the same hub. Only the solid hubs use 2 separate disks. I had considered the organic or the ceramic in sprung hubs so it is on one big hub vs the 2 separate. They say the organic kit here is good for 760 ft lbs 🤷‍♂️

I spoke to one of their stateside reps and even he said Id be pushing it on that sprung organic. I also dont want the weight of a sprung hub and wanted as light as possible for discs.

You realize they are basically the same thing right. The act and x clutch.

Actually, they're nothing alike. Notice the amount of legs on each clutch, notice the way the plates are secured within the units, the cover design, the legs themselves, friction material and pretty much everything else.

Hmm maybe it's the Exedy that it's the same as. I remember looking at one of these and I was like oh it's the same as blank

I think happy is a relative term with clutches, especially in high power cars.

Wow you guys really have a lot of issues with Act and I was considering switch from my Quartermaster twin. As much as I hate the noise actually Quartermaster 8 leg doing perfect job. Clean shifts at 8500-8800rpm, a lot of launches and I never ever readjusted it because I don't need to. I think I will stay with quartermaster forever heheh, I get use to it that I can be in heavy traffic with no problems.

The issue with the QM how heavy that gear drive hub is, and how it wears on the input shaft. Im willing to bet if yoi daily drive it, and remove the trans you're going to see extensive wear marks on the input splines and on the inside of the gear drive hub
