Yes, there are 2 filters you can technically use for the evo 8. I use this one you are showing. There is a short fat one and long skinny one. I prefer the short fat one for more ground clearance. I also use the M1 108A.

I've been running the WIX 51568, which has a larger filter surface area (177sq-in) vs the 57092 (113sq-in) and a higher bypass pressure at 16psi.

that WIX 51568 looks a bit taller... does it have clearance issues with road road debris??

No clearance issues with road debris or road road debris. Although it's difficult to tell from the angle of the picture, but the bottom of the filter is higher than the mount for the chassis stiffener bar circled in red.

What is the benefit of the higher psi?
Also, would it make a difference if I'm running 20w50 oil specifically Valvoline VR1 synthetic oil aka smurf blood.

The only benefit to running a high bypass pressure is it will allow you to catch more debris/particles before the bypass opens.
The bypass does NOT open during normal operation. Only when the filter is full of contamination.
I've already tested this.
