is $75 good for a o2 simulator for the cat?

im having a shop punch out my cat and put a o2 simulator in to avoid a check engine light, is $75 a good deal on the simulator and its install? not including hollowing the cat.

Why not spend the $140 and buy a high flow cat?

I found this with a quick google search...

i have an ultimate racing 3'' highflow cat. Im gonna punch it out. If i punch out the stock cat the flange would still only be 2.5 inches or whatever the stock pipe is.

40 bucks for a simulator? Where?

BPClements told me he took some spark plug anti-foulers, found in the help section of Pep Boys. He drilled a 1/2 hole on each one (he used two). Threaded the O2 sensor into them and install in exhaust. Hasn't got a CEL in over 500 miles. Cost less than $10.
It's the same theory as a deeper O2 bung, takes the sensor out of the direct exhaust flow.

Why nto jsut buy the Ultimate Racing test pipe for $70.00, and have the best of all worlds? A high flow cat for street, a race pipe for track days, or drag days, etc, and NO CE light at all

I did the drilling out of the spark plug anti-fouler and it works great. No more CEL.

Don't punch out a perfectly good cat. Those will come in handy come smog check time. Get one of these!
