It's possible, but it probably wouldn't be streetable with a turbo that size.

The problem with going with something bigger than the 2.4 is expense. Crower can do a custom Billet crank, but that piece alone is going to be a couple grand. Then you need the custom length rods and stroker style pistons. Since you seem to have a lot of sponsor money to throw at this car it might be an option. However, an 11k rpm 2.14L motor would really kick some *** with some custom cams and some solid lifters.

I would definately like some spool charecteristics if you have a chance so I could compare them with my PT67. Thx again Ryan.

Ya, we already sourced out the Crower crank which is big money, but the 16-18 week lead time isn't to promising. I mean once we started the first 2.7 project it wouldn't get done for a 8 months most likely.

That is why the 2.1 motor that can rev to 11k sounds so good for drag racing.

Let me ask you..I am new to the evo world but I use to a honda lover still am...I was wondering..since you are reving that motor to 11k what is rodstroke ratio on that motor...Is it over a 1.5..I know hondas rev that high because the rodstroke ratio allows them to so I was just wondering..

1.84

it uses a 88mm crank and 162mm rods.

RC Developments were running 9000rpm on a 2.4 with a T88. I think they may have gone higher with the Y2K setup.

You're doing a 2.7L Evo engine?! Impressed. Definately want to hear more.

Could just be for drag race enthusiasts who don't mind a rebuild every so many races. 2.7 from a 2.0 certainly seems to be pushing the boundaries.

It would be a 2.7 from a 2.4.

We are having problems with the AEM C2DI ignition. Guess it's on a national backorder an can't get one anytime soon.
