So there's a separate Evo block that is 2.4 as standard? I thought the 2.4s were stroked 2.0s??

That is why the 2.1 motor that can rev to 11k sounds so good for drag racing.
I have not heard alot of great thinks about Crower lately. I AM NOT bashing them, but a 16-18 week lead time for a crank, I think is a little unrealistic.

They should have the CAD drawing from their 2.3 stroker kit, so am I way of target in thinking it shouldn't take this long?

Also, I have not heard anyone running their 2.3 kit other than RC Development. Does anyone have any experience with their 4g63 stroker kit?

There more people than you think that are using the 2.3strokers/2.4, but not everyone is open about it

Been there done that as well, also the MSD dis's aren't that great either. Only 3 different cdi's I have found that work well w/o problems. M&W, Autronic, and Motec. Going to be wiring up the M&W Pro 14 to my car very shortly as a direct fire setup instead of wasted spark.

They are usually 2.4L blocks.

You can rev a 2.4 a little higher if you opt for the longer rods. Using the stroker style piston lets you run a 156mm rod (instead of 150) which helps hold the motor together at higher rpms. I am sure it is safe to 9k when built that way, and maybe a little more.

M&W Pro 14 run in direct fire mode with chrysler coils for a coil on plug solution. Or the Mercury Marine coils which have the lowest resistance of any coil on the market, but you will have to run coil wires.

there is no standard 2.4L evo block...
there are doing what a few of us 3G people are doing,
taking galant/outlander (i think) and 3G eclipse blocks and bolting it up with a EVO head...

2.3L is the stroked 2.0's
