What you guys are failing to understand is that everyone knows that Al's flash is long gone as this customer went to Vishnu for custom tuning. There is no product to return. Shiv completely retuned the car. If the customer was to send back his ecu now, all that would happen is that Al could flash Shiv's Xflash back to stock. If you don't believe that Al's tune is gone, just look at the Dynoflash dyno results in comparison to the Xflash results. There is nothing in common with the two.

as i understand it, he is willing to refund you the money, as long as you send your ecu to him. he hasn't "denied" you anything. Your not following through the procedures, and if he were to change it for you, then i bet everyone else would get their money back too.....i mean EVERYONE. fair is fair right?

I would definitely be happy if I could get 380 whp on Shiv's dyno out of this turbo but 350-360 whp is only 40 or 50 more than I have right now and more lag. Azar, any car in the 11s is plenty fast and when you start flirting in the 11s and lower are you prepared for the maintenace required when parts break. If You really do want a 10sec turbo the gt35/40 is your next upgrade. Can not have the best of both worlds. Awesome spoolup and insane topend. So you compromise with decent spoolup and good topend. I think that is better than(stock) good spoolup and fall on your face topend. Life, marriage and turbos are all about compromise.Be happy with your upgrade and remember you will be in the powerband more than people with bigger turbos.
What if az3ar beefed up his vaive train allowing a 8k-9k redline. It seems that with the larger turbo you should take advantage of the new boost curve.
az3ar how does your car feel at say 3500 rpm in 3rd gear,is it faster then stock at that rpm.
PS:Good meeting and thanks for the ride at shivs

I have nothing against him by any means but he is not easy to deal with and I have no idea how some people here on the forums are saying that he is??? Bottom line I got hosed he did not honor his money back guarantee. Its like you buy something from Best Buy and you go back to return it and they put in this loop so you give up on you money and you just don’t do business with them again. Please help me guys what should I do??

Just an FYI, Techtom does not allow you to down load the map and view it. It's upload only. In other words even if a tuner wanted to see his Magical mapping they could not. They could save the file but no way to view it.

So he just wants to keep your money.

I just wanted people to see this post because I won’t be fair if I did not mention that to everyone. When some of us have a problem with a tuner we run to the forums to inform everyone what’s going on and to watch out. That’s what I am doing now. I mean I did not even use his flash it was reflashed back the second day. If AL goes through the forums and reads how my post went through he would understand that I did not use it.

There's no point in continuing the reflash argument in here. Al is currently limited to the DynoFlash forum, so if you want to resolve this matter I would take it up in there or privately because he should be able to respond if there is to be any resolution.

This thread can develop some good info on the ATP kit so let's keep it on target.

Nastea,

This guy is now runing a Xede/Xmap on his set up. Shiv uses the flash for RPM, MAF CUT and lower load injector tuing. He would lose his custom tune if flash back to stock. I'm sure shiv has it back up in his lap top.

i understand this, however my point is, if he does this for him....and breaks his own current policies, then everyone should get a refund correct? and just keep whatever they have

So what he has to do is send his ECU to Al, get flashed back to stock, then go back to Shiv and have his custom tune uploaded.

Pain in the ***, but those are the terms he clearly posts on his website.

I agree with crazy Joe. Plus this should be post in dyno flash.

Back to ATP turbo kit really considering the 3037s with 63a/r.

KK, is it possible to cut and paste the part of this thread that complains about Al into the dynoflash section instead of starting a brand new thread?
