Az3ar

When did you start boosting (ie 0psi) and when did it make 19psi (Stock boost) ??
I'm also in considering getting the 3071R turbo .. which hopefully spools up slightly faster than the 3037

Az3ar, give Cal at Gruppe-S a call if you want a Helix cat delete.
Here's the thread: Helix cat delete

I wanted to come over and check out your car but I had to go to the Giants/BoSox game so I missed all the fun. Glad to hear Shiv helped you start getting it sorted out. You better start saving your money, you've just delevoped a case of horsepoweritis, a very costly disease.

i have been reading this with interest as i have a 3071 kit on order from ATP which should be shipped today (6/21/04)

i am assuming stock boost (20psi/1.4bar)

sounds good to me, I have a FULL 3" turbo back system and a fully mapable stand alone ECU (autronic) with anti lag...

we also have the benefit in the UK of 98 octane pump and lower charge temps..

sounds superb

what sort of torque where you making

Az3ar, don't know if you told already but do you still run the stock clutch? If so how does it hold up now?

I'm running stock flywheel and disc but a Ralliart EVO8 cover which gives plenty more pressure and still driveability. My only concern so far is if my clutch will cope with the power and torque of the 3071?

You need a new clutch...if you're going to run the 3071. Off-topic: what the h... are you doing up at 3:45am posting....that's ridiculous!!!

Edit: Ooops. Nevermind. You're in Sweden. Must be afternoon there. Wish I were there.

Well, then we can turn that around and ask what were YOU doing up at that time posting? 3:45AM was actually 10:45AM here

Regarding the clutch issue I can't remember Az3ar ever saying that he changed his clutch so I would really like to know what he is running. My clutch feels a lot stronger and confidence-inspiring than it did stock. Apart from running the Ralliart cover (RA980846K1) I have a steel braided clutch hose and the ”reducer” removed.

Yup, I have stock clutch and I dont think it will last long at all. the amount of power i have will destroy it. My clutch was chattering now I can even feel it more. It's amazing how fast this turbo is once you hit 4000rpm with my setup cuz nothing so far did hold even close to me on the streets. My S4 yesterday was about 5 to 6 cars behind me .

I will post dyno charts soon however, I dont have them now. I get full boost I think around 4500 rpm which is 21 psi.

I am boosting very safly around 21 to 22 with 91 gas which is great for daily driver. Whenever, I am going racing I put in the 100 Octane and raise the boost to 27- 28 and then you can feel some scary ****
