Ball Bearing Turbo Conversions
Ball Bearing Turbo Conversions
Just got an email from my first customer to get an Essex turbo ball bearing/titanium conversion:
"Hi Brian,
I finally got my car back late last week, with the new turbo in.
3 letters: OMG !!!!!!!! Just revving past 1.5K RPM and the blowoff valve is
already releasing some air, indicating the turbo is spooling !!
The car just goes man .... like an N/A car. Unbelievable.
Tomorrow, my tuner is coming in to install my GEMS ECU (like the AEM one),
and map the car.
Cannot wait to see how everything is going to turn out.
Karl"

I am interested in a ball-bearing and titanium conversion! How much does it cost? What is the turn around time? Do you sell the turbo already converted or do I have to send in mine? Do you offer any kind of warranty? Is the conversion done here in the States? Is this the 9.8t core?
PM me my children. It's not expensive but it's not cheap
you don't have to send in your turbo, but you can't really have a steel unit converted to Ti- I sell complete ti units converted to BB and want to buy your old turbo. WORD.

oh man, I can tell I made everyone sad that PM'd me....looky, Essex will convert a steel unit for around a grand. I'm just looking to see who wants a ti unit converted outright from me...

Sorry that was supposed to be crank hp... Buschur doing it on the OE turbo...

It could be close though, as this is the smaller VIII OE turbo.
