How hard is it to hook up the Greddy Type S BOV?

I just ordered one from Lancershop yesterday, and I wish to know how hard it is too hook it up to my 2003 EVO? Are these a good BOV, and do they make decent noise (Another words I hope it's not as loud as the RFL).

IMHO, these are one of the best BOV for our cars....installation is pretty simple(unless you dont have the adapter kit).....and for the sound wise, on low RPM, it sounds like a bird chirp....and on high RPM, it flutters really nicely.......hope this helps you....

If you can't do it in 15 minutes, I'll be surprised. It is probably the easiest of all mods you can do to your evo.

actually im having a problem with the one i bought from evo8.com

i dunno if they sent me the wrong apapter kit or what, but the intercooler pipe where it attaches to is approx 1 1/4 in diameter. the flange they sent me is 1 3/4 in diameter and thus slides right over top... isnt it supposed to fit inside?

ive been going back and forth with these ppl for about a month now but so far no progress is made.. the guy is telling me i have to weld this on...
how is the greddy type s supposed to be installed? is it to be welded only or did they just plain send me the wrong flange??

thanks!

im planning on getting the greddy type s as well from rre since its already tuned for our car, but i heard the bov leaks at 14 psi or something like that. isnt that bad since our cars go up to 19 psi?

u can weld on the adapter to the intercooler if u wanted but i wouldnt do that with the stock peice, maybe after market, and the adapter does on one side then at the end of the adapter u attach the hose that leads to the intercooler and then the bottom of bov goes to the intake, as far as leaking etc... i have never had a problem with leak. i run 20.5 psi

i got pics from when i had stock ic pipe if u want, just pm me
